Children's Monthlong Vandalism Spree Destroys $1.5M Home with Chainsaws and Axes

Seven children, aged between 11 and 15, destroyed a couple's $1.5 million home on the Isle of Wight in a monthlong vandalism spree using chainsaws, axes, and bleach. The property suffered damages worth $371,000, including destroyed antiques, paintings, and the homeowner's wedding dress. The children, who cannot be named for legal reasons, admitted to the criminal damage and expressed remorse. Six were ordered to pay compensation and given a 12-month referral order, while the seventh teenager is awaiting sentencing.
