Axe-wielding man injures diners at Chinese restaurants in New Zealand.

A 24-year-old Chinese national has been arrested and charged with wounding with intent to cause grievous bodily harm after attacking three neighboring Chinese restaurants in Auckland with an axe, injuring four individuals. The police have not given a motive for the attack, and there is no evidence it was racially motivated. Three of the victims remain hospitalized in stable condition, while the fourth victim has been discharged.
