Mossad Assists Brazil in Foiling Hezbollah's Antisemitic Terror Plot

The Brazilian Federal Police, in collaboration with the Mossad, conducted a major counter-terrorism operation to prevent imminent terrorist attacks against the Jewish community in Brazil. The operation aimed to dismantle groups preparing to commit terrorist acts and recruiting Brazilians for extreme acts targeting Jewish community buildings. Two temporary arrest warrants were executed, and searches were conducted at 11 locations. The suspects have connections to Hezbollah, and one of them was detained at Guarulhos airport upon arriving from Lebanon. This operation comes amid a spike in antisemitic incidents in Brazil, highlighting the need for preemptive actions by law enforcement agencies.
