Ukraine's Bold Move: Striking Russian Ships and Aerial Defences in Crimea
Ukraine has destroyed Russian state-of-the-art air defenses in Crimea, captured key towns near Bakhmut, and potentially put three modern Russian warships out of action. They used naval drones to attack Russian ships, causing damage and forcing one to be towed for repairs. Ukraine has been intensifying long-distance attacks on Russia's Black Sea Fleet and Crimea, destroying missile defense systems and using a combination of drones and missiles. These attacks are becoming more sophisticated and could potentially force the Black Sea Fleet to rebase to Russia. Ukrainian forces have also made territorial gains, capturing towns and destroying Russian garrisons, weakening Russian defenses.
