Fatal Confrontation: IDF Troops Clash with Alleged Car-Ramming Palestinian in West Bank

A Palestinian man was killed and another was arrested in an alleged attempted car-ramming attack in the West Bank village of Sebastia. Israeli forces opened fire on the vehicle, killing the 18-year-old driver and wounding and detaining the passenger. No Israeli troops were injured. This incident comes after another Palestinian teenager was killed in clashes with Israeli forces in Umm Safa, and three Israeli troops were injured in separate clashes in Beit Ummar. Since the beginning of the year, 155 West Bank Palestinians have been killed, with most of the deaths occurring during clashes or attacks.
