Israeli Airstrikes Devastate Families of Al Jazeera and CNN Correspondents in Gaza

In an Israeli air attack on the Jabalia refugee camp in Gaza, 22 members of the family of Moamen Al Sharafi, a correspondent for Al Jazeera Arabic, were killed. The attack resulted in the deaths of Al Sharafi's parents, siblings, their spouses, nephews, and nieces. Al Jazeera has condemned the attack and vowed to seek justice for the victims. This is not the first time that Al Jazeera employees have lost family members in Israeli raids in Gaza. The death toll in Gaza since October 7 has reached at least 16,248 Palestinians, while the official death toll in Israel stands at about 1,200.
