Stuffed animals bring comfort to Ukrainian children in war.

The War Childhood Museum in Bosnia is collecting toys, books, and other comfort items donated by children who survived the Russian-backed separatist war in Ukraine since 2014. The museum documents the experiences of children raised in war by cataloging and displaying their most personal memories and possessions. By preserving children’s mementos and memories of war, the project has been able to document the individual and shared experience of growing up in a conflict zone.
