The draining of Ukraine's Kakhovka Reservoir, caused by the destruction of the Khakhovka Dam, is revealing weapons dating back to World War II. Explosive technicians are destroying mines and other weapons found. The receding waters are also showing scars from Ukraine's wars. Ukraine and Russia have accused each other of destroying the dam, which has caused flooding affecting an estimated 38,000 people in southern Ukraine. The Kakhovka Reservoir holds about 4 trillion gallons of water and serves as a cooling source for the Zaporizhzhia nuclear plant.
