Ukraine launched a strike on the Russian-occupied city of Melitopol, damaging its railway station and power supplies. The city is a railway logistics hub for Russian forces in southern Ukraine, linking Russia to the occupied Crimean peninsula. The strike could debilitate Moscow’s forces at a time Ukraine is already looking to take advantage of Russian troops’ weakened state. Ukrainian leaders have suggested a counterstrike is imminent as Russian troops have grown weaker.
