Taliban official killed in Afghanistan bombing during memorial ceremony.

A bomb exploded during a memorial ceremony for a deputy governor who was killed in a previous car bombing in Afghanistan's Badakhshan province, killing at least 13 people including a former Taliban police official. The Islamic State group claimed responsibility for the car bombing that killed the deputy governor and his driver on Tuesday. An investigation is ongoing.
