Russian Military Buildup Detected in Southern and Eastern Ukraine

The Russian military is amassing forces in the south and east of Ukraine, with the goal of reaching the borders of Donetsk and Luhansk regions, according to Deputy Minister of Defense of Ukraine Hanna Maliar. The Russians have been going on the offensive in four directions in the east since January, and have intensified in Lyman and Kupyansk directions. The Ukrainian troops continue to fight both in the east and in the south, with some areas seeing advances and others holding the defense.
