Israeli Forces Injure Palestinian Journalists During Raids and Demolitions in West Bank

A Palestinian journalist was hit in the head by a rubber bullet during an Israeli raid in Ramallah to demolish the home of a terrorism suspect. At least six people were hospitalized, three with gunshot wounds, after hundreds of people gathered to protest against the army's presence. The use of explosives to destroy the apartment was unusual, as was the location, Ramallah, a major Palestinian city in which Israel supposedly has no jurisdiction. The incident drew immediate parallels with last year's high-profile killing of Al-Jazeera journalist Shireen Abu Akleh.
