Israel Blocks Palestinians' Return to Northern Gaza, Cease-Fire in Effect

Israel has blocked displaced Palestinians from returning to their homes in northern Gaza, despite a four-day truce brokered by Qatar. The Israeli military warned that the area is a combat zone and that it expects Hamas to encourage civilians to return. Videos showed Palestinians attempting to return to their homes in Beit Lahiya, with at least two killed and 11 wounded by Israeli forces.
