Hamas Rocket Launchers Discovered Near Gaza Playground and Swimming Pool, IDF Reports

The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) announced the death of a soldier during the ground operation in Gaza and revealed the discovery of Hamas rocket launchers near a swimming pool and a playground in the Strip. The IDF shared footage of troops locating rocket-launching positions in civilian areas, highlighting Hamas' use of the civilian population as human shields. Hamas continued to fire rockets at Israel, while the IDF carried out airstrikes and deepened the ground offensive. The Hamas-run health ministry claimed that more than 30 people were killed in an Israeli strike, but the figures cannot be independently confirmed. Israel has urged residents of northern Gaza to move south as it intensifies its activity in the Gaza City area. Defense Minister Yoav Gallant stated that Israel was dismantling Hamas battalion after battalion and vowed to eliminate Hamas Gaza chief Yahya Sinwar.
