Russia pushes for 60-day extension in Black Sea grain talks.

Talks are ongoing to extend the U.N.-backed Black Sea Grain Initiative, which allows grain shipments from Ukraine's Black Sea ports, after Russia proposed renewing the pact for just 60 days, half the term of the previous renewal. Ukraine rejected the proposal, saying the deal requires a 120-day renewal. The U.N. and Turkey, which facilitated the deal, said talks continue. The Kremlin repeated previous criticism that the deal does not address obstacles to its own food and fertiliser exports.
