La Cuadra Extension is a project that combines technical solutions with the rural heritage of the environment, local trades, and sustainability. The extension, built on the original stable, doubles the surface area and volume, creating a multipurpose space with a concentrated area of services. The design incorporates a garden, an elevated porch with a lightweight pergola, and exposed structural elements. The exterior is metallic and green, contrasting with the surroundings, and features black basins that collect dew water for use in the garden. The project aims to be a cultural asset within a rural environment.
