Brave 12-Year-Old Rescues Pet from Snake in Wild Video

A 12-year-old Australian girl, Rosie Wightman, was captured on video bravely swinging an 8-foot-long snake "like a hammer thrower" to rescue her pet guinea pig from its jaws in the family's backyard in Queensland. Her father eventually intervened and successfully freed the pet, while the snake slithered away unharmed. Rosie's quick thinking and bravery saved her pet, and both the guinea pig and Rosie are reported to be doing well after the incident.
