"Six-Legged Spaniel's Surgery and Recovery: Adapting to Life on Four Paws"

Ariel, a spaniel born with six legs, was found abandoned in a supermarket parking lot and underwent surgery to remove her extra limbs, making her now like any other dog. The Langford Vets Small Animal Referral Hospital in Bristol, England, where the surgery took place, had never seen a six-legged dog or performed such an operation before. Ariel, who had multiple birth defects, was taken in by Greenacres Rescue, which raised funds for her surgery. After the successful operation, Ariel is now adjusting to life on four legs and is said to be doing brilliantly.
