Accidental Russian Warplane Strike Leaves 20m Crater in Border City

A Russian warplane accidentally fired a weapon into the city of Belgorod near Ukraine, causing an explosion and damaging buildings. Two women were injured, and a state of emergency was declared. The defence ministry did not disclose the type of weapon involved, but some buildings were damaged, and an investigation is underway. The Belgorod region has seen several explosions since the start of Russia's "special military operation" in Ukraine in February 2022.
