Ukraine under mass drone and missile assault with casualties and power outages

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said Russia launched hundreds of drones and dozens of missiles, targeting energy infrastructure and residential buildings across multiple regions, including Kiev, with at least one death and eight injuries (one child). Ukraine says the strikes aim to cripple energy supplies and transport, and it is pushing for stronger air defences to protect critical infrastructure and daily life.
