Families in Kyiv, Ukraine are struggling to get a full night's sleep due to Russia's relentless air assault on the city. While Ukraine's new air defense systems have allowed its armed forces to shoot down and destroy most of the drones and missiles hurtling toward its capital, the same air defenses have made it a higher-value target. Kyiv has suffered 20 air attacks in the past month, most in the middle of the night, creating a collective sleep crisis for its residents.
