"Iran's Unprecedented Attack on Israel: A Test of Strength"

Iran launched an unprecedented retaliatory attack on Israel with hundreds of missiles and drones, primarily from its own soil and Iran-backed groups in other countries, but virtually everything was intercepted by Israeli and U.S. air defenses. Only five out of 120 ballistic missiles fired at Israel made it through the defenses, hitting an air base and causing minimal damage, with a 7-year-old girl being the only known casualty. The attack was in response to an Israeli strike in Damascus, and also involved rockets fired from Lebanon and other launches from Yemen and Iraq.
