"Singapore's Passport Tops Global Rankings as Most Powerful"

Singapore's passport has been ranked as the most powerful in the world, according to the Henley Passport Index. Singaporeans can travel to 192 out of 227 destinations without a visa, surpassing Japan, which had held the top spot for the past five years. Germany, Italy, and Spain are tied for second place with 190 visa-free travel destinations. The United States dropped to eighth place, tied with Lithuania, with 184 visa-free destinations. The index also revealed that the gap between the most and least powerful passports has widened, with Singapore having 165 more visa-free destinations than Afghanistan, which has the weakest passport.
