Singapore's passport has been ranked as the most powerful in the world, according to the Henley Passport Index. Singaporeans can travel to 192 out of 227 destinations without a visa, surpassing Japan, which had held the top spot for the past five years. Germany, Italy, and Spain are tied for second place, while the US dropped to eighth place. The index also revealed that the gap between the most and least powerful passports has widened, with Singapore having 165 more visa-free destinations than Afghanistan.
