Tragic Speedboat Crash Claims Life of U.S. Publishing President in Italy

Adrienne Vaughan, the president of Bloomsbury U.S., was killed in a speedboat crash off Italy's Amalfi Coast while on vacation with her husband and two children. The collision occurred with a sailing vessel carrying 80 tourists, and Vaughan was allegedly injured by the propellers of the other boat. Her husband was hospitalized with a shoulder injury, while their children were unharmed. Initial toxicology reports suggest that the motorboat's skipper may have been over the legal alcohol limit.
