Tragic Bus Crash in Orange County Leaves 2 Dead and Multiple Injured

Two people, including the Marching Band and Wind Ensemble Director at Farmingdale High School, were killed when a bus carrying students to band camp overturned on I-84 in New York. Five students were critically injured, and a preliminary investigation suggests a front tire failure may have contributed to the accident. The victims were identified as Beatrice Ferarri, a retired teacher, and Gina Pellettiere, a passionate teacher and single mother. Pellettiere's students and colleagues remember her as an inspiration and a positive influence in their lives.
