Tragic Accident: Young Girl Killed in Sand Hole Collapse at South Florida Beach

A young girl tragically died after a sand hole she was digging with a boy collapsed on them at a South Florida beach in Lauderdale-by-the-Sea. Emergency crews found the boy buried up to his chest and the girl completely buried underneath him in a 5 to 6 feet deep hole. Despite rescue efforts, the girl, about 7 years old, was pronounced dead at the hospital, while the boy, around 8 years old, was hospitalized in stable condition.
