Strong Winds Cause Stage Collapse at Mexican Rally, Killing 9

At least nine people, including a child, were killed and dozens injured when strong winds caused a stage to collapse at a political campaign rally in Nuevo Leon, Mexico. The event, organized by the center-left Citizen's Movement, was promoting mayoral candidate Lorenia Canavati and presidential candidate Jorge Álvarez Máynez. Both candidates were unharmed, but Máynez has suspended upcoming campaign events. Condolences have poured in from across the country, including from other presidential candidates.
