Fatal Collision: Mobility Scooter Rider Fatally Struck in San Jose

A man riding a mobility scooter was struck and killed by a car in San Jose while crossing a street outside of a marked crosswalk. This incident marks the 36th fatal collision and 37th traffic death in the city this year, as well as the 21st pedestrian death. Another pedestrian was also struck and killed in a separate incident on Monday.
