Samsung unveils new foldables and cuts prices to challenge rivals

Samsung has announced the Z Flip 7 and its more affordable Fan Edition (FE) variant, the Z Flip 7 FE, with the FE model priced at $899 to compete with other budget foldables. The Flip 7 FE features a 3.4-inch cover screen, a 6.7-inch main display, and a 50MP camera, but with some downgraded specs like 8GB RAM and a slower chipset compared to the standard Flip 7. The Flip 7 offers several upgrades over its predecessor, including a larger cover display, a slimmer hinge, and a bigger battery, with both models available for pre-order now and launching on July 25.
