Samsung is reportedly planning to equip its upcoming Galaxy S24 series, including the Galaxy S24, Galaxy S24 Plus, and Galaxy S24 Ultra, with brighter LTPO AMOLED displays. The new flagship smartphones are expected to feature Samsung Display M13 panels capable of delivering a peak brightness of 2,500 nits when viewing HDR content, which is a significant increase compared to the current Galaxy S23 series. Additionally, Samsung is said to be incorporating LTPO backplanes for variable refresh rates, a feature previously only available on its Ultra smartphones. The Galaxy S24 series is expected to be launched in January 2024.
