OpenAI Unveils Premium o1 Model and Sora AI Video Generator

OpenAI is launching a new $200 monthly subscription tier called ChatGPT Pro, offering exclusive access to its advanced o1 reasoning model, GPT-4o, and Advanced Voice mode. The o1 model, initially released as a preview, is now fully available for ChatGPT Plus and Team users, with Enterprise and Edu users gaining access next week. The Pro tier includes an exclusive o1 pro mode, which uses more compute for complex problem-solving. OpenAI also announced a ChatGPT Pro Grant Program for medical researchers and plans to introduce new features like web browsing and file uploads.
