"MacBook Pro 16-inch (M3 Max, 2023): A Powerful Desktop-Class Laptop"
Engadget reviews the new Apple MacBook Pro 14-inch and 16-inch models equipped with the M3 chip. The 14-inch model comes in three variations, with the base model featuring an 8-core CPU and 10-core GPU, while the higher-end models offer more power with up to a 12-core CPU and 30-core GPU. The 16-inch model starts at $2,499 and can be equipped with a 40-core GPU M3 Max chip for $3,999. Both models feature a refined design, Liquid Retina XDR displays, improved battery life, and excellent performance for productivity tasks and gaming. However, the base model's limited RAM of 8GB may be a drawback for some users. Engadget recommends opting for at least 16GB of RAM for a better experience.
