Leaked Specs Reveal Next-Gen PlayStation and Xbox Gaming Enhancements

Leaked specs from a 2023 AMD presentation suggest that the PlayStation 6 will feature a conservative design with a chiplet architecture, faster RDNA 5 GPU, and GDDR7 memory, offering over three times the rasterization performance of PS5 and around double that of PS5 Pro, with an estimated release in late 2027. The PlayStation handheld, codenamed Canis, is expected to have a lower rasterization performance but improved ray tracing, with a launch targeted around the same time. A new Xbox console, codenamed Magnus, is also anticipated but not before 2027.
