Intel CEO Downplays Threat of Nvidia and Qualcomm PC Chips

Intel CEO Pat Gelsinger is not worried about competition from Nvidia or Qualcomm in the PC CPU market, stating that alternatives like Arm and Windows client options have had insignificant roles in the PC business historically. Gelsinger believes Intel's momentum is strong and that their upcoming chip, Meteor Lake, will be a significant product. Nvidia is reportedly developing Arm-based CPUs for Windows-based PCs, while Qualcomm has unveiled its Snapdragon X Elite CPU for Windows PCs. Despite the competition, Intel remains the leader in the PC market with a 70% market share.
