Brave Introduces Secure AI Assistant for Desktop Browsing

Brave, the privacy-focused browser, has introduced Leo, an AI chatbot that claims to provide unparalleled privacy compared to other chatbot services like Bing Chat and Google Bard. Leo offers features such as translation, answering questions, summarizing webpages, and generating new content. Conversations with Leo are not recorded or used to train AI models, and no login information is required. Brave users can access Leo directly from the browser sidebar. Leo comes in a standard version that utilizes Meta's Llama 2 language model and a premium version with access to Anthropic's AI assistant, Claude Instant. Brave plans to offer additional models over time, allowing users to choose among them.
