Houston Rockets guard Kevin Porter Jr. has pleaded not guilty to felony domestic violence charges after allegedly assaulting his girlfriend, former WNBA player Kysre Gondrezick, at a hotel in Manhattan. Prosecutors claim that Porter fractured her neck vertebra and left her with a deep gash above her eye. Porter has been released on $75,000 cash bail and is due back in court on October 16. The NBA and Rockets are aware of the charges and are gathering more information. This is not the first time Porter has been involved in assault incidents, as he had conduct issues in college and with his previous team, the Cleveland Cavaliers.
