The NBA has unveiled new court designs for its upcoming in-season tournament, with all 30 teams featuring primarily solid-color courts without visible woodgrain. The designs include the NBA Cup displayed at midcourt and in the lanes, a contrasting color runway down the center, and team names on the baseline. This marks the first time that certain teams, including Boston, Chicago, the Los Angeles Lakers, Portland, and New Orleans, will play on alternate home courts. The concept of tinkering with court designs is not new, as FIBA approved glass floors for top competitions last year.
