MLB World Series showdown: D-backs vs. Rangers

Merrill Kelly delivered a dominant performance for the Diamondbacks in Game 2 of the World Series against the Rangers, striking out nine batters and allowing only three hits in seven innings. His excellent command and variety of pitches kept the Rangers guessing, and he became the first pitcher in the 2020s to throw seven innings in a World Series game. The Diamondbacks won the game 9-1, evening the series at one game apiece.
