MLB Network host apologizes for offensive remark; Phillies advance to NLCS

MLB Network host Alanna Rizzo apologized after calling writer Jake Mintz a derogatory term for reporting on a comment made by Atlanta Braves player Orlando Arcia about Bryce Harper. Rizzo criticized Mintz and others for entering the clubhouse and invading the players' privacy. The Baseball Writers' Association of America (BBWAA) called Rizzo's comments "unprofessional and unacceptable." Rizzo later apologized publicly and privately to Mintz. The Philadelphia Phillies ultimately won the series against the Braves and will face the Arizona Diamondbacks in the National League Championship Series.
