Gunnar Henderson Dominates Rookie of the Year Awards

Corbin Carroll of the Arizona Diamondbacks and Gunnar Henderson of the Baltimore Orioles have been unanimously named the National League and American League Rookie of the Year, respectively. Both players started the season in the major leagues and were ranked among the top 100 prospects in baseball, earning their teams an additional first-round pick in 2024. Carroll had an impressive season with a .285 batting average, 25 home runs, and 54 stolen bases, while Henderson showcased power and smooth defense, contributing to the Orioles' successful season. Tanner Bibee and Triston Casas finished second and third in the AL, while Kodai Senga, James Outman, and Tanner Bibee took the respective spots in the NL. This marks only the fifth time in history that both league's Rookie of the Year winners have been unanimous.
