Eagles Secure Julio Jones, Boosting WR Depth

The Philadelphia Eagles have signed seven-time Pro Bowler Julio Jones to bolster their wide receiver depth. Although Jones is not the dominant receiver he once was, he is expected to provide a boost to the Eagles' offense for the remainder of the 2023 season. Initially, Jones will join the practice squad to allow for a ramp-up period. The Eagles' receiving corps already includes A.J. Brown, DeVonta Smith, and Olamide Zaccheaus, while Quez Watkins is on Injured Reserve. Jones, who last played for the Buccaneers in 2022, brings a wealth of experience and will become the NFL's active leader in receptions and receiving yards.
