Bahl leads Oklahoma to victory in Women's College World Series opener.

The top-ranked Oklahoma Sooners defeated the ninth-seeded Stanford Cardinal 2-0 in their opening game of the Women's College World Series. The game featured a pitching duel between Oklahoma's Jordy Bahl and Stanford's NiJaree Canady, with Bahl striking out 11 and allowing no runs in a complete-game shutout. Jayda Coleman drove in both of Oklahoma's runs with a two-out single in the fifth inning. The Sooners will face Tennessee in their next game.
