Angels Make Surprising Moves, Waive Key Players Including Lucas Giolito

The Los Angeles Angels have placed pitchers Lucas Giolito and Reynaldo López, as well as outfielders Hunter Renfroe and Randal Grichuk, on waivers in a "salary dump" move. Giolito and López were acquired by the Angels in a trade with the White Sox in July.
