Kyle Rittenhouse was heckled and chased off stage by Black Lives Matter protesters during his appearance at the University of Memphis, organized by the student chapter of Turning Point USA. The protestors held signs and chanted, leading to a confrontation during a Q&A session where Rittenhouse was asked about alleged racist statements made by the conservative nonprofit's founder. Rittenhouse ultimately fled the stage with his therapy dog as the crowd erupted, after being acquitted of all charges in November 2021 for the 2020 shooting in Kenosha, Wis.
