Elevate Branson, a nonprofit group, has launched a new program to help alleviate the transportation and housing challenges faced by the working poor in Branson, Missouri. The program offers motor scooters for no money down and no credit check, with payments of about $160 per month. The nonprofit pays for scooter training, insurance, maintenance, repairs, a helmet, and motorcycle jacket. The program aims to help those who live far from their jobs on the strip or in motels, where getting around can be difficult.
