Vigilante justice: Tracking down and killing suspected thieves.

A man suspected of stealing a truck in San Antonio was shot and killed by one of the truck's owners who had tracked the vehicle using an Apple AirTag. The family members attempted to confront the suspect in the truck, and one of them opened fire after believing that the suspect had pulled out a firearm. The suspect, a man in his 30s, was later pronounced dead. It is unclear if the shooter will face any criminal charges.
