UNLV Campus on High Alert as Police Respond to Active Shooter Incident

A shooting occurred on the University of Nevada, Las Vegas campus, leaving at least three victims injured. The suspect has been located and is deceased, according to the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department. The motive behind the shooting is currently unknown. Police have evacuated buildings and are conducting a systematic search. The FBI and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives are assisting with the investigation. The university and all public colleges and universities statewide will be closed for the remainder of the day.
