Thanksgiving Parade Security Concerns Amid Pro-Palestinian Protests

Pro-Palestinian protesters disrupted the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade in New York City by gluing themselves to the parade route, causing the parade to continue around them. Approximately 30 protesters were involved, and they were subsequently taken into custody by the NYPD. This is not the first time the parade has faced disruptions, as in 2014, protesters were arrested along the route. Despite the interruption, the parade continued with beloved characters and musical performances, including Cher, and featured new balloons such as Leo the lizard and a Beagle Scout Snoopy.
