Pro-Palestinian Protesters Disrupt Thanksgiving Parades and Landmarks in NYC

Thirty-four pro-Palestinian protesters were arrested during the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade in New York after disrupting the event by gluing themselves to the pavement and spray-painting "Free Palestine" on the New York Public Library. Some protesters wore white jumpsuits with fake blood and slogans. Thirty were issued summonses for trespassing, while four were criminally charged. The vandalism to the library comes at a time when budget cuts have affected the library system. The arrests occurred as a pause in fighting in Gaza went into effect, with aid trucks entering the Palestinian enclave.
